CEACENT AN8599-F2 OCP is a dual port 10 Gigabit fiber server adapter developed independently by Xi Microelectronics based on the Intel 82599 main control scheme, with the OCP 2.0 protocol specification. The design of this server adapter card is intended for server and high-end open computing projects (OCP) to participate in optimizing rack equipment and better handle intensive data-driven applications. The use of this server adapter card makes it easy to share more efficient servers and data centers with the general IT industry for design applications, helping to promote more efficient server design and practice, handling specific and challenging workloads.

This adapter card can bundle and aggregate multiple/single ports simultaneously to achieve fault tolerance and redundancy, expand network bandwidth and ensure network performance. It can automatically detect and route communication from faulty ports to other members in the same group to continue running, achieving uninterrupted high-performance communication. By offloading data sorting loads from virtual machine monitors (VMMs) to network controllers, performance can be significantly improved and CPU usage can be reduced. The latest enhancement features include offloading virtual machine exchange within servers Virtual Machine Direct Connection (VMDc) paired with virtual machines can achieve almost maximum performance output.
