CNS44PE16 is a PCIe 3.0 Switch adapter card independently developed by CEACENT. It uses the Broadcom PEX8748 main chip. The chip has its own PCIe splitting function. Through the jumpers on the card, you can choose to split the downstream channels into X8X8 or X4X4X4X4 modes to match the rear-end adapter graphics cards or hard drives
and other applications. This adapter card can be applied to platforms such as graphics workstations, servers, communications, and storage, and can be used for PCIe expansion in the ALEO project. It supports up to 8 PCIe 3.0 NVMe hard drives. Each hard drive channel has a PCIe 3.0 x4 (4GB/s) bandwidth, and the transmission performance is 10 times faster than SATA.
