CEACENT AO2M2PE08 is a dual type NVMe mode four channel adapter card NVMe developed independently by Shenzhen Xi Microelectronics Co., Ltd., which combines Oculink (SFF8611) and M.2 NVM Express (NVMe). It adopts the Pci-e 3.0 * 8 bus type and does not require power to NVMe SSD. The BIOS supports PCLs slot bifurcation. The design of this hard drive adapter card is mainly applied to bottlenecks in server and high-end desktop computer storage. It comes with a PCIE splitting protocol - PLX8724 main control chip, which can be easily expanded without the need for motherboard support for splitting. It supports up to 2 M.2 and 2 Oculink (maximum number of four channels) NVME channel expansion, HDD (SSD) expansion, and supports NVME hard drives that comply with standard protocols such as Intel.



AO2M2PE08 is suitable for storage systems such as graphics workstations, servers, communication, etc. Each NVME SSD channel has a dedicated PCIe 3.0 x4 (32Gb/s) bandwidth, with transmission performance 10 times faster than SATA. Instructions for using CEACENT AO2M2PE08:

1 PCIe 3.0 x8 total bandwidth;

2 Adopting the SFF8611-Oculink new PCIE specification and M.2 (M-key) dual channel mode;

2. Four NVMe U.2 (SFF8611) channels (providing dedicated PCIe 3.0 X4 bandwidth for each interface); BIOS supports PCLs slot bifurcation

3. Oculink SFF-8611 interface, connect a 2.5 "NVMe U.2 (SFF-8639) SSD solid-state drive through the Oculink SFF-8611 to SFF-8639 data cable.

4. Adopting Broadcom's high-performance PEX8724 chip;

5. Provide high-performance storage solutions for U2 and M.2 (M-key) NVME SDD.

6. There are no requirements for operating system or compatibility with motherboard models. Simply having a PCIe slot on the motherboard allows for easy expansion.
