CEACENT CBP-6ER424S is a 4U 24 disk customizable storage server 24 disks launched by Shenzhen Jiahua Company Expander backplane. The product size is 427 * 168 * 2.4 mm, using BCM high- performance chip, mature LSI 3X36R Ex pander master control scheme. The backplane adopts hierarchical delay power on to avoid current overload and fault when a large number of hard disks are powered on at the same time, and further ensure high reliability of the system.
The built-in backplane can connect up to 24 SAS/SATA disks. The connection scheme is optional. It provides 6 large 4-pin power connectors, 24 SFF-8482 data ports supporting 12Gbps protocol SAS hard disks, and 6Gbps protocol compatible SAS/SATA hard disks; 3 SFF-8643 for connecting this project and upstream devices. Secondly, the MAX-V management chip and AGM CPLD chip were embedded in the backplane, which could support SGPIO signal interpretation and monitor the working state of the hard disk in real time. CPLD is used as the lamp control management, and the LED status indicator is used to feedback the use situation in time.
